Stavros Yiannakou, originally from Cyprus, obtained his BSc in Economics and Accounting and MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from the UK. In 2000 Stavros joined the financial services industry working for Marfin Laiki Bank as a Senior Foreign Exchange Trader and Head of Global FX Risk. Stavros is an experienced trader and a financial analyst with extensive knowledge of Foreign Exchange, Money Market and Foreign Exchange Derivatives products and instruments. Stavros is also proficient in Risk Management, Treasury Administration and overall operational procedures.
Upon joining Tadawul FX as Chief Operations Officer, Stavros quickly had an impact on the business with his financial analysis capabilities and spearheaded changes in operational procedures to bring more efficiency and more effective risk management for the company.
Stavros joined Tadawul FX in 2009 as Chief Risk Officer and in September 2010 was appointed as the company's Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for the overall strategic management of the company as well as overseeing all of the company's operations in terms of departmental procedures, objectives and respective targets.
Tamer Eid, originally from Egypt, grew up in Switzerland and is fluent in four languages. He first began working in the Forex market in 2003, acquiring a wealth of experience in currency trading. He proceeded to join MEI where he was in charge of all technical support issues for the company. Tamer has built up a great network in his field and his indepth understanding of treasury and all associated technical issues, as well as his insistence on establishing high standards for client service in the forex industry led him to joining forces with Ramzi Chamat in 2006 to form Tadawul FX.
Tamer is responsible for the overall strategic management of the financial control unit of the company, including Accounting Department and Back Office Departments and his key focus is on consistently maintaining high trading standards for Tadawul FX customers.
Thomas Papantoniou, originally from Cyprus, grew up in the United Kingdom and started working in the forex industry in 2002. Finding it exciting and fast moving he proceeded to join Tadawul FX in 2008 as an Executive Director bringing to the company his strong sales expertise, creativity and strategic planning. Thomas is responsible for managing the overall Tadawul FX Sales Division and overseeing the company's customer service strategy.
His focus is on maintenance and achievement of consistently high service standards, as Thomas says, "Servicing you is what makes the difference". Thomas's dedication and large contribution to the company's success led to him to becoming Chief Operating Officer of Tadawul FX in August 2011.
Yvan Burki, originally from Switzerland, speaks three languages and grew up in Switzerland. He joined the Tadawul FX team prior to the official launch of the company in 2006. Yvan has an impressive track record of successful IT solutions and his expertise and experience has given Tadawul FX a competitive edge for offering its customers superior trading facilities.
Yvan is responsible for the overall IT management of the company, and systems development and implementation.
Sergei Dehtiarov, originally from Ukraine, has been educated in the UK and completed his MBA in Cyprus. Sergei comes from an investment consulting background and joined Tadawul FX in 2008 as the Head of the Treasury Department.
Sergei is responsible for the strategic management of the Treasury Department of the company and effectively utilizes his education and work experience in order to achieve and maintain high professional standards in Tadawul FX.
Pantelis Michael, originally from Cyprus, obtained his Bachelor's degree in International Economic Relations and Development from Democritus University in Thrace, Greece, and his Masters degree in European Studies from Leeds University, UK. Pantelis entered the forex industry in 2002, and has since acquired the NFA series 3 diploma as well as professional certificates from the Ministry of Finance for Cyprus Investment Firms.
Pantelis joined Tadawul FX in 2008, initially in the Treasury Department, and later transferred to the Sales Department where he now holds the position of Sales Manager. His role is to strategically manage the Sales department, further develop the business, and offer frontline and first-class support to clients.
Anna Paraskeva, originally from Cyprus, joined Tadawul FX in 2008. Anna is an expert in compliance and internal audit and accounting procedures. Prior to joining Tadawul FX, Anna was in charge of the internal audit of a Major EU restaurant chain.
Anna is responsible for overseeing the Accounting Department of the company and her role involves ensuring complete adherence to the strict rulings of all our financial regulators (SFDF, CYSEC) and auditors (Deloitte).
Christos Michaelides, born in Australia and raised in Cyprus, obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Public and Business Administration with specialization in Finance from the University of Cyprus. His passion for financial analysis has driven him to pursue the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter, an achievement that awarded him affiliate membership in the world's largest association of investment professionals, the CFA Institute. Christos proceeded to join the Treasury Department of the Cyprus Development Bank where he dealt in diverse markets and was actively involved in measuring, monitoring and managing the Bank's liquidity, foreign exchange and interest rate risk. Christos possesses extensive knowledge coupled with applicable experience in using financial derivatives (such as financial swaps and forward contracts) for risk management purposes.
Christos joined Tadawul FX as a Treasury Officer and was soon promoted to the position of Risk Manager of the company. He is responsible for identifying and managing Tadawul FX's financial and non-financial risks.
